The Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame is proud to honor outstanding players, educators, administrators, promoters, officials, and media personnel who have lived in the State of Oklahoma and who, by their performances on court and/or efforts off-court, have distinguished themselves by having made significant contributions to the sport of tennis.
Each year 200+ gather for a celebratory luncheon to honor the new Hall of Fame inductees, along with other United States Tennis Association (USTA) OK award winners. For more information and to see past winners visit the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Website.
“Tennis has taught me so many life lessons. Every point is a new point. There’s always a chance to get back up, shake it off, and move on to the next point or next game or next match. Tennis has taught me about the value of positive self-talk and a positive mindset and about the hard work. I was not the fastest or the most athletic, but I was always willing to work the hardest day in and day out.”

“I have been playing tennis since I was 6 years old ( almost 70 years). I was lucky to be born into a tennis family. My father taught me how to play, and I had two uncles that were always there to help. They all played college tennis. I received a college education on a tennis scholarship. Met my wife while I was playing tennis. So yes, I would say tennis has had a great impact on my life. The many wonderful friends I have made through this game have been invaluable. This is a game for life. I am a good example!”
